KMT Training Tasks.
I've designed this page to give you a few ideas, it shows how I have used Technology in the classroom. Some things have worked, some haven't.
It's important to share everything though. |

Explore the zoomable Prezi Timeline.
This is similar to a lesson I have done with year 8 and year 7. I have an interactive whiteboard that they can click and zoom, no reason it can't be done with iPads and Comps though. With Year 9's I've put up Sources of information that they have to find hidden in the Prezi and answer the Questions given to them. Answer the following Questions; When was Henry VII reign? Who succeeded William the Conqueror? When did Elizabeth II begin her reign? When did George II begin his reign? Who is the 9th monarch? |

Padlet is embed able, you can also provide a link to the students to use. It is like an online post it note board. They can share their ideas in realtime. I have used this many times with KS4 & 5.
I've also used (to some success) Treasure Hunts either using QR codes to hide information around my room or via the website. Students would have 10 questions to answer on the relevant topic, their answers would direct them to a link on my site where information was kept, they would then copy this down into their books.
